When is check out?

Sunday morning by 10:00 AM.

What is the Natural Bridge?

It is one of the most beautiful and historic natural settings in the entire South. It is a double-span bridge formed completely by nature over millions of years.

When is check in?

Sunday between 1:00 and 4:00 PM. (Late arrivals must contact the office to arrange for keys and information and will need to register in the office the following morning.)

Who may enroll?

Women and men 16 years of age and older.

Will age affect my participation?

No. We have activities available for all ages and fitness levels.

What is included in the cost?

All meals, snacks, beverages, lodging with daily housekeeping service, all lectures and classes, incoming and outgoing assessments and the use of all Tennessee Fitness Spa facilities.

How is the food?

The foods we prepare are not only low in calories and fat, but are highly nutritious and very delicious. We serve both a standard and vegetarian/vegan meal plan which you may choose when you make your reservation. (Change requires 24 hours notice.) All of our meals are low in sodium and sugar, and natural sweeteners are used when needed. We also accommodate medical dietary restrictions with timely notifications. Cooking lectures are offered and recipes are available so you may follow our cooking philosophy in your home. Low carbohydrate requests, diabetic restrictions and other dietary needs can be accommodated upon request.

May I smoke?

We do not condone smoking, as it is dangerous to your health. However, if you are a smoker, you may do so only in designated areas and on chalet porches, as long as there are no complaints from other guests.

Are there any extra costs?

Only if you choose to purchase any merchandise or pampering services such as massages, facials, manicures, etc., or request personal training from our instructors. Private nutritional consultations are also available.

Is active participation mandatory?

No. You are allowed to pick and choose the classes you want to participate in or just relax.

Should I consult a physician prior to attending?

We strongly urge you to do this prior to attending TFS or any other facility dealing in weight loss activities.

What are the accommodations like?

All of the units at our workout spa are carpeted and have heat and air conditioning. All units have twin beds, a twin and a double, or two double beds, with either a full bath or a bath with shower only. Each chalet-type building has a large front deck complete with swings and colorful plants and an excellent view of the pond and creek. Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes. Laundry facilities are available in the gym area for guest use at no charge. Laundry soap is sold in the gift shop.

If I come alone, do I have to pay the private rate?

No. We can arrange for you to have a roommate(s) if you would like to stay in a quad, standard double or deluxe double room. However, if you would like to guarantee a room to yourself, you should arrange for a private room.
