Fun Filled Days and Nights

Tennessee Fitness Spa is a week-long fitness program that provides healthy meals, clean and comfortable lodging and 8 hours of workout classes six days a week. Our exercise day begins with a healthy breakfast including plenty of protein, healthy carbs and a self-serve buffet of fresh fruits. The daily exercise program begins by 8:00 a.m. with a warm-up and a 60 minute fast pace walk.  For the next 2 1/2 hours you may choose between aqua classes, Spinning, Pilates, body toning, aerobics, weight training and Wallyball. The morning workouts are followed by a 15 minute stretch class and a healthy lunch. 

A typical afternoon includes weights or toning classes followed by aerobics, aqua aerobics, body toning, meditation, yoga or stretch, as well as educational workshops.  After dinner, you may enjoy an evening activity such as arts and crafts, bingo, self-defense, dancing, karaoke, movie night or a special workshop.  These activities are provided so that you will receive the maximum benefit from our fitness spa however you are also free to just relax by the pool or in our TV lounges.

     2:45   AB Class such as Core Toning
     3:30   Aqua Aerobics OR Racquetball Game
     4:30   Full Body Stretch such as Restorative Yoga
     6:00   Dinner
     7:00   Evening Activity; Musical Performance or Games

*Saturday workouts end at 1:30 with a spin class. No official classes after the 1:30 Spinning Class however the gym, pool, weight room as well as the sauna and hot tub are available 24 hours a day.

Informative Classes:

Regularly scheduled classes on nutrition, cooking, health and fitness are an important part of your week stay at Tennessee Fitness Spa.  You will receive the latest information on nutrition to help you develop a healthy lifestyle.  We take the time to develop a dietary schedule for you during your stay at our health spa, which you can then continue to use after you get home.  We also will advise you on an exercise regimen which will continue to benefit you long after your stay with us.

Facilities: 

Tennessee Fitness Spa offers facilities that will get your blood flowing as well as help you relax after a vigorous day.  Use our workout facilities during your scheduled exercise times, or stop in for a little extra work during the evening and on the weekends.  Afterward, you can slow down and unwind using any of our relaxing amenities.

Exercise:

Our week long fitness program and exercise program consists of walking, aerobics, Spinning or cycling, aqua aerobics, interval classes, weight training, Pilates, yoga, body toning, racquetball or Wallyball, and stretching.  You will receive an InBody report on your first day at our Fitness Resort as well as a final assessment at the end of your stay.  You can participate in any exercise class on our campus as all classes have modifications based on your personal level of fitness. The regimen at our fitness spa will help increase your balance, flexibility, aerobic endurance, and strength in a low-impact, healthy, and safe manner.
