Fun Filled Days and Nights

Each day at our exercise camp begins with a healthy breakfast.  The daily exercise program starts with a warm-up and walk.  Next may be an aqua class, Pilates, body toning, aerobics, weight training or wallyball, followed by stretching and lunch.  A typical afternoon at our weight loss retreat may include aerobics, aqua aerobics, body toning, meditation, yoga or stretch, as well as an educational workshop.  After dinner, you may enjoy an evening activity such as arts and crafts, bingo, self defense, dancing, karaoke, game night, movie night or a special workshop.  These activities are provided so that you will receive the maximum benefit from our fitness spa.  However, you are free to just relax at any time, which is what differentiates our Tennessee spa from a typical fat farm or fitness boot camp.

Note:  Classes are not offered Saturday afternoon or Sunday.  However, the facilities are all still open.  Many guests choose to go sightseeing, relax by the pool or use the gym facilities during these times.

Exercise

The exercise program consists of walking, aerobics, aqua aerobics, interval classes, weight training, Pilates, yoga, body toning and stretching.  You will receive a personal fitness assessment on your first day, as well as a final assessment at the end of your stay.  You will participate in an exercise program based on your personal level of fitness.  The regimen at our fitness spa will increase your balance, flexibility, aerobic endurance, and strength in a low-impact, healthy and safe manner.

     4:30   Full Body Stretch such as Restorative Yoga
     6:00   Dinner
     7:00   Evening Activity; Musical Performance or Games

*Saturday workouts end at 1:30 with a spin class. No official classes after the 1:30 Spinning Class.

The gym, pool, weight room as well as the sauna and hot tub are availabe 24 hours a day.


Regularly scheduled classes on nutrition and fitness are an important part of your stay at Tennessee Fitness Spa.  You will receive the latest information on nutrition to help you develop a healthy lifestyle after you have completed the program at our weight loss resort.  We take the time to develop a dietary schedule for you during your stay at our health spa, which you can then continue to use after you get home.  We also will advise you on an exercise regimen which will continue to benefit you long after your stay with us.
