The fitness program at our weight loss camp
Tennessee Fitness Spa is a week-long, all-inclusive health and fitness program that combines healthy meals, clean and comfortable lodging, and a full schedule of workout classes 5 1/2 days a week. Our weekly program begins every Sunday and you are encouraged to stay for as many weeks as possible.
Monday through Saturday our day begins with a healthy breakfast, including plenty of protein, healthy carbs, and a self-serve buffet of fresh fruits. The daily exercise program begins by 8:00 a.m., with a warm-up and a 60-minute, fast-paced land- or pool-walk. For the next 3 hours, you may choose between aqua classes, indoor cycling, Pilates, body toning, aerobics, weight training, and Wallyball. The morning workouts are followed by a 15-minute stretch class and a healthy lunch.
Monday through Friday our typical afternoon begins with weightlifting or toning classes, followed by aerobics, aqua aerobics, body toning, meditation, yoga or stretch, as well as educational workshops. After dinner, you may enjoy an evening activity, such as arts and crafts, bingo, self-defense, dancing, karaoke, or a special workshop. These activities are provided so that you will receive the maximum benefit from our health and wellness weight loss camp, however, none of our activities are mandatory. Every guest is free to relax in their rooms, by the pool, or in our TV and reading lounges.

* Saturday workouts usually end by 12:00 p.m. When official classes are not being held, the gym, pool, and weight room are available all day, along with the sauna and hot tub.
Regularly scheduled classes on nutrition, cooking, health, and fitness are an important part of your stay at this fitness and health spa. We will advise you on an exercise regimen which will continue to benefit you long after your stay with us. Our informative Taking the Program Home lecture is given by the fitness department. This lecture and its handouts focus on a fitness and nutrition plan that can be easily implemented when you go home. There will be time to ask questions and you will receive helpful information about the exercises that you performed while at the spa. We want you to continue with healthy eating and fitness habits when you return home. We hope that what you learned during your stay at Tennessee Fitness Spa will allow you to create positive changes that will last a lifetime. Additional workshops available on rotating weeks include: The Tour and History of the Natural Bridge, Weight Machines 101, and Healthy on Your Feet: Proper Walking Techniques.
Tennessee Fitness Spa offers all the following facilities for exercise, as well as for pampering and relaxation. All the public facilities are open 24 hours a day.

Our live-in fitness and exercise program consists of walking, aerobics, indoor cycling, aqua aerobics, interval classes, weight training, Pilates, yoga, body toning, stretching, plus optional games such as racquetball, pickleball, and Wallyball. You will receive an InBody report on your first day at our fitness resort. You can participate in any exercise class on our campus, as all classes have modifications based on your personal level of fitness. The regimen at our fitness spa will help increase your balance, flexibility, aerobic endurance, and strength in a low-impact, healthy, and safe manner.
